Election Type: Spring Election (nonpartisan).

Offices Up for Election: This election may include judicial, county, municipal, school, and referendum items, depending on the voter’s location. Statewide judicial offices on the April 7, 2026 ballot include one seat on the Wisconsin Supreme Court and three seats on the Wisconsin Court of Appeals, along with various circuit court judgeships across the state. Additional local nonpartisan offices and ballot questions may also appear for Taylor County voters depending on where they live.

August 11, 2026 — Partisan Primary

Date and Time: Tuesday, August 11, 2026, 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.

Election Type: Partisan Primary.

Offices Up for Election: This election determines each party’s nominees for the fall ballot. Wisconsin voters may see partisan primary contests for offices including Governor, Lieutenant Governor, Attorney General, Secretary of State, State Treasurer, U.S. House of Representatives, Wisconsin State Senate, and Wisconsin State Assembly. Not every office will appear on every ballot, since primary contests depend on district lines and whether multiple candidates filed for the same office.

November 3, 2026 — General Election

Date and Time: Tuesday, November 3, 2026, 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.

Election Type: General Election.

Offices Up for Election: Voters will choose candidates for major partisan offices including Governor, Lieutenant Governor, Attorney General, Secretary of State, State Treasurer, U.S. House of Representatives, Wisconsin State Senate, and Wisconsin State Assembly. Depending on district and local jurisdiction, some Taylor County voters may also see additional local offices or ballot questions.
